My name is Kristi Wachendorf, and I'm Focus' physical therapist.
I grew up on a ranch in northwest South Dakota and after my older brother experienced an injury that required over a year of extensive physical therapy, I knew it was a career I wanted to pursue.
I graduated from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015.
Growing up in a small town community, I knew I wanted to move outside of the Bismarck/Mandan area eventually. After graduation, I moved with my husband Mitch back to his hometown of Washburn, ND. We have 2 kids, Avery (5) and Brooks (3). I love the outdoors including hunting, fishing and spending time at Lake Sakakawea. I also enjoys traveling and sporting events, playing basketball and volleyball, along with watching and assisting with youth sports including t-ball, soccer, gymnastics and basketball.
I have 7 years of experience as a physical therapist serving a variety of ages from 7 to 107 years old including both inpatient and outpatient therapy. I am certified in Dry Needling and am very happy serving the Bismarck/Washburn community.
